Choice screen and alternative billing system for Japan
- Japan Mobile Software Competition Act (MSCA) comes into effect today, with Google making several changes to the Android platform in the country
- Users will be prompted to select a search engine and browser of their choice while setting up a device
- App developers can opt for alternative billing system for in-app purchases
