Community update: 2026 #Blog
R.I.P Pixel 6, welcome LineageOS 24.0 and happy 10th year anniversary to Google Pixel. I hope everyone has a great life. It's probably not hard to notice the proper channel update only came once in a few months. With the interest slowly diminishing and more things to deal in life, obviously I had to set it aside.

After executing it for years, maintaining and keeping the community up to date can be a tough job. That's why I felt grateful for all the community moderators out there, taking out their free time just to keep the community in place for people to discuss a certain topic. This is also particularly why there really isn't any expansion from our side. The best thing I could think of is that we kind of have a general group for anyone to talk about Pixel phones or software, feel free to join and help more people over there.

I hadn't really got time to explain this, but the post is formatted in a way that information can be easily obtained if you are checking or comparing multiple ROMs. For example in the first line, you can immediately know whether the ROM is available for your device by checking the last section, if none was stated then the whole series is supported. Gapps is another common question people asked, you can also know that immediately by checking the Notes, if there are none it usually means it is not encouraged to use Gapps with the ROM. The hashtag is also there to help you search easily.

Not sure if such format is a good idea, as it takes some time to check and write. Anyway, I might want to start looking for candidates who are willing to do this for long-term. If you are genuinely interested to track down every single update for the community, then this is for you, and it will be better if you can stick to a familiar format while posting. Just comment on this post if you are interested.

And thank you to everyone who contributed in the community, even if that was a short reply for someone's question. It's a weird experience but throughout the years, I had also learned a lot from others. Anyway, wishing everyone the best in life.
