Course Assistants in Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics at New Uzbekistan University is looking for course assistants in Calculus and Linear Algebra. The work is grading homework and quizzes, and explaining the grading to students who ask.

We are looking for a solid command of both subjects, good English, and an interest in starting research.

The last point matters as much as the others. A course assistant who wants to do research can start working on a problem with one of our faculty, and that is the part we care about most. Where it leads is up to you. Our doctoral programme is open to applicants who already hold a master's degree, so for most people it is not the immediate next step, but the research can begin now.
