🎉 Captured around 1826-1827 by French inventor Joseph Nicéphore Niépce, View from the Window at Le Gras was created using a process called heliography

✨ Niépce coated a pewter plate with bitumen and exposed it to light for roughly 8 hours, capturing the buildings, courtyard, and countryside outside his window

🌚 Pretty wild to think this is where photography began!
