🩻 Applications for the Göttingen Emergent Minds Winter School on Learning in Brains and Machines are still open, and the deadline has been extended to October 1st, 2026.

📅 From February 15 to March 6, 2027,  the winter school will bring together at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization in Göttingen researchers working across computational neuroscience, machine learning, information theory, and applied mathematics to explore how brains and machines learn, represent structures, and give rise to computation.

💥 The three-week program will combine lectures, hands-on coding tutorials, a hackathon, lab tours, and poster sessions, covering topics including neural dynamics and synaptic plasticity, data-driven dynamical models, biologically inspired machine learning, information-theoretic approaches to causality, and experimental and data-analytic perspectives.
