🔎 I'm looking for a PhD candidate to join my growing team at the interface of #photonics, #microscopy 🔬 , and #neuroscience at MPZPM (https://mpzpm.mpg.de/)

📝 The project will focus on open-source light-sheet microscopes for cleared human tissue samples, contributing to the international #mesoSPIM initiative. Depending on your interests and background, the work may involve optical/mechanical design, tissue clearing, software development, system integration, data analysis, and user training. ✏️ The position is affiliated with the IMPRS Physics from Light to Life / IMPRS Physics and Medicine and embedded in the research environment of Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light, MPZPM, FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, and Universitätsklinikum Erlangen
