🎯 Neuroscience Academy Denmark (NAD) offers 16 fully funded PhD fellowships each year through a unique 4-year programme consisting of one pre-PhD year followed by a three-year PhD project. The programme brings together more than 200 neuroscience laboratories across Denmark, including research groups at Aalborg University, Aarhus University, University of Copenhagen, and the University of Southern Denmark. Fellows complete three laboratory rotations during the first year, receive advanced neuroscience training, participate in workshops and networking events, and subsequently design their own PhD project in collaboration with leading neuroscience researchers. Research areas span basic neuroscience, translational neuroscience, clinical neuroscience, neurodegenerative diseases, brain disorders, neuroimaging, neuropharmacology, molecular neuroscience, and cognitive neuroscience.

💰 Funding: Fully funded. Fellows receive a salary during the pre-PhD year at research assistant level and subsequently a full PhD salary according to Danish national employment agreements, including pension and employment benefits.
