🎓 PhD Student Position in Experimental Physics at the University of Rostock.

🔎 We are looking for a PhD student (m/f/d) to join our research team at the University of Rostock. This exciting position focuses on label-free interferometric imaging of action potentials in cells as part of a collaborative project with the University of Rostock Medical Center.

📝 Requirements:
• MSc degree in STEM (preferably physics)
• Strong background or interest in optical system design, biophysics, cell growth, and data science (particularly unsupervised algorithms like PCA and ICA)
• Excellent academic record and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
• Willingness to dive deep into scientific questions and contribute to fundamental understanding
