📝 There are currently two PhD positions available at the Centre for Mathematical Plasma Astrophysics at KU Leuven, with an intended start date in September 2026.

🔎 The first position focuses on incorporating radiative emission processes into particle-in-cell simulations of the solar corona, and on investigating how energy is released during turbulence and magnetic reconnection.

🔎 The second position focuses on the reflection and interaction of magnetohydrodynamic waves in the solar corona, using both analytical derivations and numerical simulations.
