✨ The Role:
If your application is successful to one of the two positions available, you will join our research team at the University of St Andrews, where you will be based with Prof Andrea Di Falco’s 'Synthetic Optics Group' in the School of Physics & Astronomy.

🔎 You’ll design, fabricate, and characterise 3D #IntegratedPhotonicMetamaterial platforms for #OpticalComputing and
#OpticalNeuralNetworks, combining linear and non-linear signal processing within a single material architecture.

📝 You will be contributing to impactful work in MetaHUB’s #ICT and #ScaleUp research themes, nurturing a more sustainable world through the development of faster, more energy efficient computing. There will be many opportunities to work across research projects in MetaHUB, working collaboratively across all our institutions, and with many of our industry partners to deliver multiple, joint, real-world outcomes.
