This PhD project addresses a pressing issue in contemporary electrical systems: the increasing complexity of electromagnetic environments due to widespread electrification and digitalization. Fast-switching power electronics, now ubiquitous in vehicles, buildings, hospitals, and farms, can generate EMI that propagates in unpredictable ways. Traditional electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) measurements, which are often limited to single locations and time points, fall short in providing a comprehensive understanding of these phenomena.
