After 15 years of requests, Instagram is now officially on iPad, arriving with a design that puts Reels front and center on the home screen. The app brings a bigger‑screen layout with Stories on top and quick access to other feeds and messages.

Instagram chief Adam Mosseri had long said an iPad app wasn't a priority and that resources were limited, which delayed the project for years. With today's release, iPad users can finally browse and watch Reels on a larger display.
