🔍 New Ancestor Species Found in Ethiopia

Ten of the teeth belong to this new species, while three come from early members of the genus Homo, showing that the two lineages shared the same habitat.
The discovery, detailed in Nature on 13 August 2025, adds to evidence that human evolution was not a straight line but a "bushy tree" with overlapping branches.
