🍏 Apple Plans Cheap MacBook for Late 2025
Apple is working on its cheapest MacBook ever, with sources saying it could cost as little as $599 and arrive by the end of 2025.
To keep costs down, Apple plans to use the A18 Pro chip from the iPhone 16 Pro instead of the pricier M-series chips usually found in MacBooks. This would be the first time Apple puts an iPhone processor in a consumer Mac laptop, breaking from its usual approach.
