🤩 Qwen Releases Most Powerful Open Coding Agent
Chinese startup Qwen has released Qwen3-Coder. It has 480B parameters with 35B active.
The model beats recent competitors like Kimi K2, DeepSeek-V3, GPT-4.1, and even Claude Sonnet 4 in coding benchmarks. It also comes close to Sonnet 4 in agent-based tasks.
The team also launched Qwen Code, a command-line coding assistant based on Gemini CLI source code.
