World’s Oldest Alphabet Discovered in Ancient Tomb

Archaeologists from Johns Hopkins University have found what may be the oldest alphabetic writing ever discovered. This incredible find was uncovered in an ancient tomb in Syria and is believed to date back to around 2400 BCE. That makes it about 500 years older than any previously known alphabetic scripts.
