🚗Who is Driving Your English? 🧠: Internal vs. External Locus of Control

One of the concepts we are going to discuss at the next Perfect English Converstaion Club is the locus of control, which may be internal or external.

👈Internal (The Architect):

People with an internal locus believe that they are the primary drivers of their success. If they fail an exam or struggle with a presentation, they attribute it to their own effort, strategy, or lack of preparation.

👉External (The Passenger):
People with an external locus believe that life "happens to them." Success or failure is blamed on luck, fate, the difficulty of the task, or the "bad" teacher.

🪄Why this matters for YOU:
At the C1-C2 level, your progress is no longer linear. You don't have a teacher holding your hand through every grammar rule. You are now the master of your own education.
