on september 19, the supreme leader was eaten in madrid

members of the group malditos bárbaros (“cursed barbarians”—which itself comprises members of the media initiative ruinas del kremlin (“ruins of the kremlin”) and the madrid cell of the feminist anti-war resistance) fed people a cake shaped like the commander-in-chief adored by russians, v.v. putin. the event bore the telling title la tercera roma caerá (“the third rome will fall”). it is also worth noting that the cake for this necro-banquet was baked at a ukrainian pastry shop.

“the event began with a performance structured as a satirical parable about the tsar of a great country who ultimately descends into the realm of the dead. the climax took the form of a collective necro-banquet: a large cake shaped like vladimir putin’s head was destroyed and shared among the participants as part of the action.”

they say the taste of the leader is sweet and pleasant to us. yet we also hear that the dictator is no longer the same “cake” he used to be: he has been getting eaten for so long that we’ve lost count (is it his fifth term or his sixth?), and still, he refuses to be fully consumed. nevertheless, the third rome will fall—and there shall be no fourth!

участни_цы группы malditos bárbaros, «проклятые варвары» (в свою очередь, состоящей из участни_ц медиа-инициативы ruinas del kremlin, а также мадридской ячейки феминистского антивоенного сопротивления) в рамках мероприятия с говорящим названием la tercera roma caerá, «третий рим падёт», накормили людей тортом в форме обожаемого россиянами главнокомандующего в.в. путина. отметим также, что торт для некробанкета был испечён в украинской кондитерской.

«мероприятие началось с перформанса, построенного как сатирическая притча о царе великой страны, который в конце концов нисходит в царство мёртвых. развязка приняла форму коллективного некробанкета: большой торт в виде головы владимира путина был уничтожен и разделён между участниками как часть акции»

вкус вождя, говорят, нам сладок и приятен. но также мы слышим, что диктатор уже не торт: его поедают уже давно (не то 5-й, не то 6-й срок) – а он всё никак не поедается. однако же третий рим падёт – а четвёртому не бывать!
