Nvidia CEO: China to Overtake the US in AI Race

At the Financial Times Future of AI Summit, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang warned that China is set to outpace the US in artificial intelligence, despite ongoing American export bans on advanced chips.

Huang cited China’s flexible regulations and substantial energy subsidies - which make power costs nearly negligible for tech firms-as key factors behind Beijing’s AI momentum. Meanwhile, President Trump announced that Nvidia’s flagship Blackwell chips would remain exclusive to US companies, reinforcing a strict export policy toward China.
