A Russian newspaper from 1926 reporting that paganism was being preserved by the Bolshevik party in indigenous slavonic regions:

“In the remote corners of the Lodeynopolsky district during the census, it was discovered that pagan beliefs are still being preserved. [...] The peasants manage their farming with wooden bipods and harrows and very seldom use agricultural tools.
