Introducing Neptune
Neptune is now in private alpha on Pacifica. It gives each user their own virtual machine, set up in one click, with an AI agent inside that you work with in plain language. You can use it to research markets, build workflows, host your own tools and develop strategies that connect directly to execution on Pacifica. Trading is the first thing we've built it for, and the machine is yours to run whatever else you need.
We built Neptune because the path from a market idea to a working system is still spread across charting tools, notebooks, scripts and servers that traders stitch together themselves, and we wanted that whole path to live in one place.
Say you have a hunch that shifts in open interest and funding tend to come before big moves on SOL. You ask Neptune to test it. Neptune adds the data skills it needs from the Skills Library, pulls the history and shows you how often the pattern appeared and what followed. When the first result looks better than it should, Neptune points out that most of the gains came from one short stretch of the market, so you refine the idea before going further.
From there, Neptune sets up a workflow on your machine that checks those conditions every hour. When they line up, it passes the signal to a strategy with your entry, exit and sizing, plus a stop that closes the position if funding flips against you. You backtest the full setup, run it on testnet and can change or stop any part of it at any point.
Pacifica started with execution because everything else depends on it. Over the coming releases, Neptune will take on autonomous workflows, deeper market intelligence and onchain activity, so that more of what you do in markets can start with telling Neptune what you want.
The alpha is open to our community OGs and runs on testnet. We'll widen access as new capabilities ship and announce every new round on the Pacifica X account.
