Glory to God for All Things!

On September 18th, we celebrated the 6th Anniversary of the founding of Christ the Savior Orthodox Church — the first ROCOR church in the West Valley — here in Youngtown, Arizona.

Six years ago, this was only a prayer. Today, by God's grace, it is a home. A home where the light of Orthodoxy shines, where prayers are lifted, and where a family in Christ has taken root and flourished, growing to over 200 parishioners.

This journey has been blessed with seasons of change and beautiful growth, and none of it would have been possible without you.

With grateful hearts, we thank our beloved parishioner and to those who have moved away yet remain dear to us— you are the soul of this parish. To our dear friends and spiritual family in California, thank you for never ceasing to hold us in your prayers. And to our kind benefactors across the country, thank you for your love and generosity that sustained us when we needed it most.

Above all, we thank our Almighty God for His abundant mercy, and we bow with gratitude before our dear Mother, the Most Holy Theotokos, whose constant and loving intercession has covered and protected us every step of the way.

May God grant us many more years to serve Him together!

We give thanks to God as we celebrate the 6th anniversary of the day Christ the Savior Orthodox Church - 1st ROCOR CHURCH IN the west Valley moved into our permanent church home in Youngtown, Arizona.

Our parish was officially founded on July 24, 2020, but on September 18, 2020, God blessed us with a place we could truly call home. What began as a small and newly established parish has grown into a vibrant Orthodox community of more than 200 members, including adults and children, inquirers and catechumens.

Over these six years, we have witnessed baptisms, weddings, the growth of our children’s school, new ministries, countless Divine Liturgies and services, and the arrival of many families who have become part of our parish family.

We give thanks to God for His countless blessings and for every person He has brought through the doors of our church.
