DEEMAN RADIO, literally “Radio Culture”, located in Parakou, on the hills of the Ganou district, near the N’dali road, is the first cultural channel in Benin, DEEMAN meaning “Culture” in the Baatonum language. It broadcasts on the frequency 90.2 MHz in Parakou and covers the communes of Parakou, N’dali, Pèrèrè, Tchaourou and partially the communes of Nikki, Kalalé, Sinendé and Bembereke. Deeman Radio also covers the entire Baru Tem Local Government in Nigeria, a commune entirely inhabited by baatombu. To this end, Radio plays an important role in cross-border relations between Benin and Nigeria.
