More and more people are emerging who, although they do not know in whose name, nevertheless feel a vague yet genuine longing for liberation.

To show such people the way, to protect them from the spiritual dangers of the present world, to guide them toward the knowledge of truth, and to make their will absolute, so that some among them may join the ranks of the “Awakened” — this is the highest task that remains for us to undertake.

It is therefore essential that traditional values be reaffirmed time and again, with ever greater clarity and firmness as the opposing current grows stronger.

Even if these values cannot be realized in the world today, they are far more than mere ideas.

They are standards by which all things are measured.
