The wisdom of Hippocrates seems more relevant today than ever:
First: Do no harm.
Second: Nature plays a fundamental role in the healing process.
Third: Let proper breathing and natural food serve as medicine.
Today, little is said about Hippocrates. Who was he, after all? A man who lived in another era, facing different challenges.
And yet, while time and space are relative, universal laws and the fundamental principles of morality, choice, and human conduct remain timeless.
How would Hippocrates approach nutrition today to maintain intestinal health and support the proper functioning of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems?
How would he respond to the health challenges of our time?
First, he would choose light, easily digestible, nourishing foods that support healthy digestion and the body's natural functions.
Second, he would carefully consider the use of medications, supplements, vaccines, and invasive treatments, weighing their potential benefits and risks while recognizing nature as an important ally in maintaining health.
Third, he would devote some of his free time to quiet contemplation, enjoying sunlight, breathing fresh air, and reconnecting with the natural world.
