🧷Hackathon result — update🧷

In August, our team took 2nd place at the Archipelago 2025 hackathon where we trained a neural network to detect people in images captured by drones.

Today, the results of the competition were acknowledged at an official event with Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan.

🤩 We’re closing another chapter ♥️

And this is what this year became for us.

- Newcomers became the strength and foundation of 108.
- Project leads turned their ideas into real products.
- The team kept taking on new challenges.
- Event managers and their helpers brought the people together again and again.

See you in the New Year — to keep making life at IU better 💜

Tired of Cropping Scanned Documents? We Feel You!

🪪 Now you can scan your passport, ID, or notes and get a perfectly cropped PDF automatically. Our new smart "Crop & Rotate" setting detects your document's edges and removes all the extra background. Just scan – we'll handle the rest. A small setting for your printer, a big win for your convenience.

Annoying scan.pdf renaming?

👩‍💻 Since this update you can rename your scans right inside corresponding jobs!

Cybersecurity!

🔐 We care about your privacy. Now all your files have to pass through our servers for at most 6 hours, then they will be deleted. You will see a warning if one of your print or scan jobs is expired.

Contributors:
@dantetemplar — wrote the cropping algorithm
@InsertB — implemented the scan rename feature
@danillatency — code integration and maintenance

Since becoming an official club, we’ve gone on an exciting journey! We introduced our community to students on February 6, welcomed first-year students during the bootcamp, and shared cozy movie nights with you. We worked on projects — lots of projects 🥱

Our community has existed for quite a few years, but we became a club not so long ago, and we’re proud to be who we are today❤️

Thank you to every member of our close-knit team and to everyone who has supported us from the sidelines. Today, we are sharing the successes of our club with you.

🛡 Guard — keeping your Google Sheets safe
For group leaders, activists, and anyone who’s faced the problem.

Need to collect information from a large group of people?
Create a Google Sheet — and suddenly lose control over it?

🔴The issue: some people abuse anonymity — editing, deleting, or interfering with others’ responses.

🟡The fix: our service removes harmful anonymity by linking actions in Google Sheets to respondents' Innopolis accounts.

How to use Guard:
• Create or connect a Google Sheet
• Share invite link with respondents
• Users identify themselves on entry
• See who made changes — and block access if needed

Clean data. Clear responsibility. Less stress.
