🏆 1st place in Moscow Transport Hackathon

Our friends have participated at Moscow Transport Hackathon in autonomous tram localization track. Task was to develop a real-time adaptive nonlinear solution for reliable tram speed and position estimation using only control inputs and wheel odometry under GNSS denial, wheel slip, sensor faults, and time-varying vehicle dynamics.

The guys came up with a great solution. And the day before their defense, we drilled them and their presentation until late at night — and it really paid off! They took first place and won a prize of 500,000 rubles.
