Clarification on Exchange Section Rules
It has come to our attention that multiple users have been using the exchange section to exchange fraudulent/dirty funds. This is something that as a forum we are heavily against and is also stated explicitly in Rule #3 of our Terms of use:
"OGU does not encourage or promote any posts or discussions concerning unlawful activities, fraud, or deception, including posts or discussions relating to fraudulent activities such as "Stolen Accounts", "Cookie Stuffing," "Hacking", "PVA", "Fraud" activities, or using classified ads in a deceptive manner."

After careful consideration, we are excited to announce our decision to transition back to the OGU name. Our initial rebranding to FLIPD was an effort to distance ourselves from past controversies due to inadequate moderation and unclear policies, leading to a chaotic environment.
However, since the rebranding, we have observed a decline in activity and growth, and we understand that many of you were not satisfied with the change. Additionally, some copycat sites have emerged, trying to capitalize on the name change.
In light of these developments, we believe it is best to return to the OGU name. With enhanced moderation and clearly defined policies, we are committed to creating a safe and vibrant space for discussion and sales.

I have very unfortunate news.
According to our host, our server had a system failure on July 28th and the hosting provider had to reinstall it. Backups were stored on the server weekly but as it failed all data was lost, now we pay for off-server backups.
This situation is truly devastating; we invested countless hours in an attempt to recover the data, but regrettably, it proved impossible. We were fortunate enough to possess a functional backup from April 10th 2023. As we face this setback, our only option is to look ahead and remain hopeful for a gradual recovery.
I empathize with everyone's loss of progress on the site, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. I want to assure you that we have taken measures to ensure that such an occurrence will never happen again in the future.
As a gentle reminder, all data, including accounts, upgrades, posts, threads, credits, reputation, vouches, etc after April 10th 2023 has been lost.
We kindly ask for your patience as we diligently work on restoring everyone's upgrades, sticky posts, features, awards, and more (details below). Rest assured, you will have them all back soon.

In light of the recent increase in users providing Free Middleman services, we have revised our policy regarding vouching for such deals. Going forward, we no longer permit the exchange of vouches for free middlemen transactions. It has come to our attention that this practice has persisted for an extended period, even though vouches should only be given for deals valued at $5 or more.
