Sticker Staking Explanation

We see your questions and the negativity around the end of Sticker Staking, so we want to explain our position.

Sticker collections were never sold as an investment product and were never a way for MRKT to earn money. All collections were distributed for marketplace activity, participation in events, and community engagement.

From our side, MRKT supported this direction for a long time: we held events for holders, distributed gifts, launched activities, supported trading, and kept attention around the collections. Some of the rewards were valuable gifts, including Plush Pepe.

It’s important to say this clearly: MRKT did not earn anything from stickers. Everything we received from activity around the collections was returned to users through events, rewards, liquidity support, and community development.

But right now, stickers are no longer growing as an ecosystem and are not developing in the direction where we see the future of MRKT. That’s why we decided to move forward and focus on new products.

Sticker Staking was never meant to become a main source of income. Staking rewards were a bonus for participating in the activity, not an obligation to support a mechanic forever when it no longer continues to grow.

At the same time, we are not resetting your accumulated progress. Sticker Staking Points can be exchanged for MRKT Points — an opportunity to use your old points as a starting point in the new MRKT system. MRKT Points can be used to buy skins.
