NEXWEST was first established on 21 April 2026 under the name Ravangers. As the community grew, the Founder realized the name shared similarities with another squad. Together with Generation 00, a complete transformation was carried out, rebuilding every element of the community from its name, theme, slogan, icons, to its overall identity.

Through discussions, evaluations, and collective voting, FUNKY WEST was chosen as the concept that best represented the community's character. After weeks of preparation, NEXWEST was officially introduced on 5 May 2026, marking the beginning of a new identity built entirely through the creativity and collaboration of its own team.

The journey continued on 18 May 2026 with the development of the community's operational foundation, including its organizational structure, official media, archives and internal systems. Although the team has evolved through role changes over time, the vision and values established from the beginning remain the heartbeat of NEXWEST.
