The Eid al-Adha holiday was determined long ago
Muhammadiyah has already issued a definite decree regarding Eid al-Adha 2026. Based on the Decree of Muhammadiyah PP Number 2/MLM/I.0/E/2025 concerning the Determination of the Results of the Calculation of Ramadan, Shawwal, and Zulhijah 1447 H, Eid al-Adha 1447 H will fall on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

🐄. Eid al-Adha also serves as a sign of sincerity in sharing. The act of sacrifice teaches Muslims to sacrifice some of their wealth (in the form of livestock/sacrificial animals) to help and assist those in need and local residents. 🐮

(1. Cultivating empathy)
Training social skills and caring for others.
(2. Spreading happiness)
The moment of sacrifice can strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among Muslims through mutual giving and fostering friendship.

ⓘ it is not permissible to sacrifice animals with fangs, only livestock such as cows and goats
