FAQ. INTERVIEW.
User:
Verification will be updated, right? How frequently? And what sanctions will be imposed on authors/collections after a status change?
Founder:
When a project's status changes, its verification badge updates along with it. If a collection is flagged as a scam, creator royalties are set to zero on the marketplace, and all information about the project is wiped, including the holders' chat and the project's channel. After that, the project is given some time to try and restore its reputation; we monitor them for a month and then make a final decision.
User:
Ah, and how will the appeal process work? I assume moderation is automatic, but details like this will clearly have to be handled manually.
Founder:
The project writes to one of the designated representatives, or directly to the owner or someone from the team, and we take it from there.
User:
Okay, but what if the author doesn't have the funds for maintenance/development and decides to temporarily freeze the project?
How does it work in that case?
Founder:
It’s considered a scam when shady actions are taken + if the founder disappears. A situation like that won't be labeled a scam, as long as they stay active at the very least.
Besides, in a situation like that, they can always find something to do, keep building. Money is just an excuse; as mentioned before, anyone can request support from the marketplace.
User:
And how much does the author have to pay back for that support?
Founder:
It depends on the project, but in most cases, at least initially, it will be done for free. Meaning, if you are a good project = you get support for it.
