⚠️ JUST IN: Russia charges Durov with aiding terrorism

Russia's FSB charged Durov today under Article 205.1 of the Russian Criminal Code, accusing Telegram of failing to remove channels used by Ukrainian intelligence and extremist groups to coordinate attacks inside Russia. An international arrest warrant has been issued. If convicted in Russia, he faces up to life in prison.

Telegram's official X account responded by posting a photo of Durov giving the middle finger 😂. Neither he nor Telegram has issued an official statement. Durov, based in Dubai with French and UAE citizenship, still faces an open investigation in France from his 2024 Paris arrest.

🛡EXPLOIT: Another "Steam" malware?

A community map for MECCHA CHAMELEON silently dropped a PowerShell script on Windows PCs to download a second-stage payload. The game's Discord was then compromised after the malware infected a dev's machine, bypassing 2FA and locking out staff.

Sources obtained a video of one of the threat actors celebrating after successful RCE: "RCE FUCK**G WORKS N**GA, IM THE GOAT." Investigation still ongoing.

⚠️ JUST IN: Telegram stars exploit

Yesterday, a bug allowed Japanese accounts to buy 10,000 Stars for $1.50 instead of $150. Gifts bought with the cheap Stars flooded the market before Telegram caught it.

Telegram refunded all Stars from the bug and reversed affected gifts. Sellers who traded gifts for dirty Stars got them back, but with a 27-day transfer cooldown. Some accounts are now sitting on negative star balances of 100K+.

⚠️ JUST IN: OGU domain gone.

oguser[.]com, home of community trading forum OGUsers, no longer resolves. The .com registry returns NXDOMAIN on every record type, meaning the domain lost its delegation entirely, not a server outage.

The old ogusers[.]gg still points users to oguser[.]com, which is now a dead end. No seizure notice has surfaced and the cause stays unverified.

⚠️ JUST IN: All t.me links broken worldwide

Montenegro's .me registry placed t.me on serverHold yesterday, wiping every Telegram invite link, channel preview, and bot link from global DNS. The app itself still works. Durov only found out via X, posting "t.me links stopped working. Can you look into it?" suggesting Telegram got zero notice.
No statement from the registry, Identity Digital, or Telegram. One unconfirmed report ties it to OFAC compliance requirements. Domain expires in 2035, ruling out non-renewal.
