A 57-year-old from Tyumen was sentenced to 8 years in a strict-regime colony for sending 130 Stars (~293 rubles, about $3) to pro-Ukrainian Telegram channels including those of journalists and commentators. Russia classified it as financing terrorism.
One of the Stars went under a post about a Ukrainian strike on a Russian ammo depot. Another went under a post about "safe use of paid features." Memorial recognized him as a political prisoner.
