Two French crypto millionaires in their 20s were abducted at gunpoint in east London and held for over two days in a flat in Canning Town. They were beaten, burned with cigarettes, and scalded with boiling water while captors demanded $150K in crypto. One paid $30K and was released, the other was handed to a second gang before police ended it with a high-speed chase.
Six men convicted. The alleged mastermind directed everything via WhatsApp from abroad and is still at large.
