“Noah Doe” filed a 901-page lawsuit in New York claiming ownership of 39,069 dormant Bitcoin wallets, including Satoshi-era addresses and the Mt. Gox hacker’s 80,000 BTC. He built an algorithm to find them, reported them to the NYPD as lost property, spent a year trying to find the owners, then sued. Even if he wins, courts can’t move Bitcoin without the private keys.
