This piece weaves together thoughts on representations of ethno-culture that had recently been presented into my awareness.

At the time, I was looking at foreign cultures promoting themselves in the West in some inspiring ways, but also as an invasive presence.

And, I had journeyed to Prague to find a charming and beautiful city, but somewhat falling short of the kind of thriving folk culture presence that I had hoped to find.
