I'm looking for a Research Assistant to join me on the LSE Financial Opportunities Programme at the The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) Financial Markets Group.

The work is on personal finance — how households make financial decisions, and what we can learn from studying those decisions rigorously. Day to day, this means working with large, granular datasets; building and estimating structural models; and contributing to research aimed at top journals.

Strong econometric and structural modelling skills matter a lot here, as does comfort with programming and technology more broadly; the research involves computation and careful handling of complex data. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's or Master's in Economics, Finance, or a closely related field, and the ability to work independently on demanding empirical and structural modelling projects.
