I am looking for two Research Assistants for 12-months contracts starting in June or September 2026, funded by my ERC grant.

📌 What you'll do:
• Some coding, to extend or develop Stata, R, or Python packages
• Support users of the packages
• More and more, I involve RAs with a taste for econometric theory in theory-oriented tasks, which can range from:
*checking a proof;
*extending a result (e.g. we have an estimator without covariates, how to include covariates?);
*I give you a vague and ill-formed idea and you take it from there.
I meet RAs twice per week, and RAs also present their independent research to me.

What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's or Master's in Economics (or equivalent)
• Strong background in maths, econometrics & causal inference
• Advanced programming skills in Stata and R
• Fluent English
• Bonus: prior package development, GitHub page, CS training, knowledge of Python and/or C++
