This document outlines the National Socialist regime’s intent to crack down on esoteric, occult, spiritualist, and alternative religious or pseudoscientific movements. The National Socialists considered such teachings dangerous, misleading, or competing with their own ideology and wanted to eliminate their influence on society.

“…occult teachings, which claim that the actions and conduct of human beings are dependent on mysterious magical forces, can no longer be tolerated being imposed upon the German people.

It is therefore necessary to proceed against these teachings and so-called sciences with the sharpest immediate measures. A final legal regulation is already in preparation.

II.) These immediate measures extend to:

Astrologers,
Occultists,
Spiritualists,
Followers of occult radiation theories,
Fortune-tellers (of any kind whatsoever),
Faith healers,
Followers of Christian Science,
Followers of Anthroposophy,
Followers of Theosophy, and
Followers of Ariosophy,

and are directed both against their organizations, associations, clubs, federations, circles, etc., as well as against all leading and individual persons, insofar as they have made these teachings or so-called sciences their main occupation, or otherwise hold special positions or exert a particular influence.”
