Sentiment among the lower TON community inspired me to write this post
A part of TON community, which is mired in casinos and gifts. Gifts that are killing original NFT collections every day and literally sucking liquidity out of the entire market.
The scheme goes like this: gift → upgrade → dump at floor price → off to the casino.
And this scheme works largely because of the artificially created hype surrounding these gifts. When a new gift is released, instead of treating it as an experiment, people buy it at any price - and now find themselves down 50% or more after upgrades.
But this is merely a matter of utility. And so far, they haven’t been able to come up with a solution.
The “flex” in the profile is a weak utility, especially considering their supply.
And some people support this, while simultaneously spewing hate at indie artists and developers, even though it seems like they have nothing to do with it 🙂
And these people find it all very funny - they’re laughing at all of us.
But we’re the ones who should be laughing (I’m laughing, right here: ha-ha). Because they don’t understand what we’re building - even after we announced it, even after we launched a couple of massive projects - they still don’t get it. And that’s a good thing.
We’re building a new narrative on TON. Together with the community, we’re creating a massive influx of liquidity - something that neither gifts nor your shitty casinos will ever be able to provide. We’re the resistance and we are genuine TON community, and you’re not.
