I was about 10 years old, and my mother and I were going to the Pirogovo Museum that day. A reenactment of some battle from World War II was taking place there. Trenches were dug, tanks were rolling, planes were flying, shells were exploding. Everyone was wearing forage caps, and everyone was rejoicing and watching in amazement. Then a field kitchen was set up and everyone was treated to barley porridge with stewed meat and poured out "combat" 100 grams of vodka. And it was all free. It was the most delicious porridge with meat, the taste of which I still remember. And this memory was given to me by our grandfathers.
Happy Victory Day, frens π
The photo was taken not on that day, but it was taken there.
