⛳️ That's something interesting: Gate launches its own Layer 2.

When an exchange launches its own chain, it stops being a venue and becomes the operating system. Like day-one liquidity and full user base, native listings, fee capture, even tighter MEV/latency control.

But it also means a new layer that needs to be secured. An onboarding funnel for people who never touched the exchange but arrive straight to the chain. If it nails infra + trust + onboarding, it scales. If not, it’s just another walled garden with a logo.
