🇺🇸Trump threatens Iran with new attacks: “You’ll see what we’re going to do”

At a campaign rally in the city of Wasilla, Alaska, US President Donald Trump once again issued a threat against Iran. Speaking to his supporters, the US president declared: “You’ll see what we’re going to do with Iran. We’re going to hit them hard.” Trump did not specify what measures Washington is preparing or whether they involve new military operations. His statement came against the backdrop of the ongoing confrontation in the Persian Gulf and diplomatic contacts aimed at ending the war.

The appearance took place as part of the campaign ahead of the US congressional midterm elections. The US government is facing growing discontent over high energy prices and the protracted conflict. At the rally, Trump once again promised an imminent end to the war and a drop in oil prices after the end of hostilities. At the same time, he continued his tough rhetoric toward Tehran without presenting a concrete plan to resolve the conflict.
