Talking about DanzDas is always complicated — it’s like lifting the lid off Pandora’s box: you never know what will come out, but you do know you’re taking a big risk.

DanzDas, from the beginning to the present:
DanzDas was born in early 2001 from an idea by Mirko Bolzoni — a multi-instrumentalist musician, writer, actor, and painter. The concept was both simple and brilliant: to create something that transcends conventional artistic or academic boundaries while embracing every possible form of expression — music, literature, painting, sculpture, performance — everything in one. In short: madness!

Madness, indeed, could be called the leitmotif of the group — the common thread that has always defined DanzDas, a project tormented over the years by an ever-changing lineup (departures, resignations, farewells both heartbreaking and liberating, and even a few real “defenestrations”!) and by long periods of inactivity alternating with bursts of feverish creativity.
