Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister said in an interview: “The United States tore up the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding. Iran will never be the first to bow down and ask for negotiations with the U.S.”
Do you know what that really means? Let me translate it: Iran is willing to negotiate with the United States, but it cannot allow anyone to see that it was the first to back down.
Secret talks are fine. Closed-door negotiations are fine. They can even negotiate on their knees, as long as they return to the cameras and keep pretending to be tough.
It is honestly hilarious. If Iran’s Revolutionary Guard is really so defiant, why not simply say, “Iran will never negotiate with the United States”? Why add the condition that Iran will not “bow down first”?
The truth is simple: they want negotiations, but they are desperate to save face. These terrorists commit some of the most evil acts in the world, yet still need to look powerful in front of their own people—even though they keep getting beaten black and blue. 🤣🤣
