I've mentioned many times that Pavel Durov is a master liar. Before his arrest in France, he claimed in an interview that he disliked flying on other people's private jets, but he was on one when French police arrested him.

He also said Telegram would never become a paid app, but they launched TON first, then premium memberships, usernames, anonymous numbers, and finally the gifting feature.

Furthermore, he lied to his girlfriend that he preferred women, when in fact he preferred men, leading to their breakup. He also paid Google to display his height as 1.85 meters, but those who attended his speeches said he was at most 1.7 to 1.75 meters tall.

Most shockingly, he liked to use multiple accounts on X platform to post, comment, and like, creating the illusion of popularity, while in reality, the "people" in the comment section were all his own accounts. (I highly suspect he was influenced by the Soviet Union; he enjoyed being worshipped, and if no one else was, he would create such a spectacle.)
