Telegram is simply an excellent messaging app, nothing more. But that does not mean every aspect of it is perfect.

For example, the Gram cryptocurrency itself seems to require constant hype to stay afloat. It is no longer driven by the market and has effectively become a cryptocurrency controlled by its founder.

In the early days, the founders said that Telegram would never introduce paid subscriptions or advertising services. Today, we can all see the result. There have been countless similar promises that did not hold up. A founder who repeatedly makes such claims now says that investing in Gram will make you a lot of money and that you will regret it if you do not. Only fools would believe that. From the very beginning, their goal was to make money from those willing to buy into the hype.
