The Poets Room focuses on amplifying queer and bipoc voices, while welcoming everyone who believes in art as a tool for connection and liberation.

We invite you here with one simple goal in mind: come show yourself! Step into the freedom that comes with speaking your truth- let the world know that our voices are powerful and our presence is needed!

During the evening, poets of all kinds will be invited to take the stage, regardless of their mode of expression, to share truth and release.

We’re prioritising submissions from queer bipoc artists to ensure that they are in the spotlight. There will however, be an open mic segment where all other performers and allies will be warmly welcomed to step up.

What to submit
-short description of the piece
-length of the piece (max 15mins)
-a few lines about yourself
-instagram handle (if you want to be tagged in promo)

📮Submission deadline: October 20, 2025
