Now live: Arboreal Apiculture Salon #49 with Ivan Pigarev

Ivan Pigarev is an entrepreneur, publisher, designer, farmer, and father of many. A graduate of Lomonosov Moscow State University's Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, he has spent the past decade turning his attention to honey bees, their biology, and the popularization of apiology across Eastern Europe. He founded the Association for Natural Beekeeping and lectures widely on bees, to audiences from university students to the business world. Through the Association, Ivan and his team preserve the region's dark forest bee and study free-living colonies in the forests of Eastern Europe. He has also brought several of Thomas Seeley's books to readers in the region through his own translations, with more publishing projects on the horizon.
Please join us for a conversation that reaches across borders into the wild and free-living honey bees of the Eastern European forest.
